INDIVISBLE UPDATE:

Short update on impeachment: we’re hearing news from Congress that offices are being deluged with calls about impeachment, but not the calls we want. Some offices are reporting three times as many calls from right-wing anti-impeachment callers than pro-impeachment voices. And we’re getting reports from the Hill that some moderate Democrats are waffling on their position.

Calling your senators and representatives is the best way to have an impact on how they vote, and with a vote in the full House expected this week, we’re running out of time — fast.

It takes under 5 minutes and has a huge impact. Here’s your three-step plan for taking action today:

  1. Call your representative right now.
  2. Call your senators right now
  3. Once you’ve made a call, amplify your impact by writing a letter to the editor of your local paper to make sure your elected officials and your neighbors hear the message everywhere they go.

Remember: it’s important to call your members of Congress even if they’ve already said they’re supporting impeachment, both to give them positive reinforcement and also because it gives them a good talking point to use when trying to convince their colleagues.
